These Terms govern your use of Cuevo (cuevo.club), a skill-based competitive gaming contest platform operated in India. By registering or participating in any contest, you agree to these Terms in full.
Section 1
About Cuevo and Eligibility

Cuevo is a skill-based gaming contest platform that allows registered players to compete in organised video game contests for real cash prizes. Cuevo is not a gambling platform β€” outcomes are determined by skill, strategy, and performance, not chance.

To participate in any paid contest on Cuevo, you must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be a resident of India, excluding the restricted states listed in Section 2.
  • You must have a valid Indian mobile number.
  • You must have a valid UPI ID registered in your own name for receiving prize payouts.
  • You must register with your real name and accurate personal details. Fake accounts, duplicate accounts, or impersonation is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of any balance.
Section 2
Restricted States β€” Where Cuevo is NOT Available

Due to local legislation, residents of the following Indian states are not permitted to participate in paid contests on Cuevo:

Residents of these states may browse the platform but may not deposit funds, register for paid contests, or withdraw winnings. Cuevo uses IP-based detection and self-declared state information to enforce this restriction. Providing a false state of residence is a material breach of these Terms and will result in permanent account termination and balance forfeiture.

Important Notice
This list may change as Indian gaming legislation evolves. Cuevo reserves the right to restrict or permit additional states with reasonable notice. It is your responsibility to ensure participation is legal in your jurisdiction.
Section 3
How Contests Work

Cuevo organises skill-based gaming contests across multiple game titles. Each contest operates as follows:

  • Entry Fee: Each contest has a fixed entry fee (currently β‚Ή50, β‚Ή100, or β‚Ή200). Paying the entry fee confirms your participation. All entry fees are non-refundable except as described in Section 9 (Refund Policy).
  • Prize Pool: 80% of all entry fees collected go to the prize pool. The remaining 20% is Cuevo's platform fee. Kill bonuses are paid from the platform fee, not the prize pool.
  • Room Credentials: Room ID and Password for the match are available on your Dashboard exactly 15 minutes before match start. Room credentials are never visible before the unlock time.
  • Scoring: Scores are entered by Cuevo administrators after the match concludes. Results are based on in-game placement, kills (or goals), and applicable bonuses. Cuevo's scoring decisions are final.
  • Prizes: Top 3 finishers receive placement prizes. All players who score kills or goals receive a per-kill/per-goal bonus regardless of final placement. Prizes are credited to your Cuevo wallet within 24 hours of results being published.
  • Lobby Size: Contest lobbies may have any number of players as specified on the contest page. Cuevo does not guarantee any minimum number of participants.
Section 4
Wallet, Deposits, and Withdrawals

All financial transactions on Cuevo are processed through your Cuevo Wallet:

  • Deposits: You may deposit funds to your Cuevo Wallet using UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking via our payment partner Razorpay. Deposits are credited instantly upon confirmation.
  • Withdrawals: You may request withdrawal of your available balance to your registered UPI ID at any time. Minimum withdrawal is β‚Ή100. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours via Razorpay X Payout API.
  • KYC for Withdrawals: If your cumulative prize winnings across all contests exceed β‚Ή10,000 in a financial year (April–March), you must complete KYC verification (PAN card) before withdrawing further amounts. This is required under Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • Tax Deduction at Source (TDS): TDS at 30% applies to net winnings above β‚Ή100 per financial year as per Section 194BA. Cuevo will deduct applicable TDS before crediting prize amounts. A TDS certificate (Form 16A) will be issued annually.
  • Wallet Expiry: Cuevo Wallet balances do not expire as long as your account remains active. If your account is terminated for policy violations, any remaining balance may be forfeited.

Section 5
Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct

Cuevo is a skill-based platform. Any attempt to manipulate contest outcomes is a serious violation. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Use of emulators, aimbots, speed hacks, wall hacks, or any third-party software that provides an unfair advantage in gameplay.
  • Account sharing β€” allowing another person to play a contest on your behalf.
  • Collusion β€” coordinating with other players to manipulate contest results.
  • Creating multiple accounts to gain additional contest entries or referral bonuses.
  • Chargeback abuse β€” disputing legitimate payment transactions with your bank after participating in a contest.
  • Any attempt to exploit platform bugs for financial gain.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, forfeiture of all wallet balance and winnings, and reporting to relevant authorities where applicable. Cuevo reserves the right to conduct investigations and audit gameplay data.

Section 6
Intellectual Property

All content on cuevo.club β€” including but not limited to the Cuevo brand name, logo, visual design, UI, written content, and platform software β€” is the exclusive intellectual property of Cuevo and its operators. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Game titles featured on Cuevo (including BGMI) are trademarks of their respective owners. Cuevo is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any game publisher.

Section 7
Limitation of Liability

Cuevo provides its platform on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cuevo is not liable for:

  • Loss of winnings due to technical failures, server outages, or payment gateway errors beyond our reasonable control.
  • Any loss arising from your failure to enter room credentials in time or inability to connect to the game server.
  • Decisions made by game publishers affecting gameplay, servers, or room availability.
  • Loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect damages of any kind.

Cuevo's total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the total amount of entry fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the dispute.

Section 8
Account Termination

Cuevo reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination for cause:

  • Any pending contest entries will be cancelled and entry fees refunded to your wallet.
  • Any wallet balance may be withheld pending investigation.
  • If investigation confirms fraud or policy violation, the balance may be forfeited.

You may close your account voluntarily at any time by contacting support@cuevo.club. We will process your withdrawal of any remaining balance before closing your account, provided no investigation is pending.

Section 9
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of Cuevo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Changes to These Terms

Cuevo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users via email and Dashboard when material changes are made. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

How We Use Your Data
  • Platform operations: Creating your account, processing contest entries, sending room credentials, publishing results.
  • Payments and payouts: Processing deposits via Razorpay and sending prize payouts via Razorpay X to your UPI ID.
  • Communication: Sending match reminders, credential messages, prize notifications, and contest alerts via Dashboard.
  • Legal compliance: Fulfilling tax obligations under Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and the DPDP Act, 2023.
  • Security and fraud prevention: Detecting emulator use, duplicate accounts, collusion, and chargeback fraud.
  • Platform improvement: Analysing aggregate, anonymised usage data to improve the platform.
We Never Sell Your Data
Cuevo does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

Data Retention
  • Account data: Retained for the lifetime of your account plus 3 years after closure, as required by Indian financial regulations.
  • Transaction records: Retained for 7 years for tax compliance purposes.
  • KYC documents: Retained for 5 years after the last transaction, as required by Indian law.
  • Notification logs: Retained for 90 days, then anonymised.
  • Technical/security logs: Retained for 6 months.

Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a data principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: Raise a complaint with our Data Protection Officer.
  • Right to Nominate: Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of your death or incapacity.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data:

  • All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.3.
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
  • Room credentials are only accessible via a server-side API that verifies your contest entry and match timing β€” they are never embedded in page HTML before the unlock time.
  • Payment data is never stored on Cuevo servers β€” all card and UPI data is handled exclusively by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
  • Admin access to player data requires multi-factor authentication.
Section 7
Cookies and Tracking

Cuevo uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics cookies from Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, or any cross-site tracking technologies.

Your session cookie expires after 7 days of inactivity or when you sign out, whichever comes first.

Section 1
Understanding the Risks

Participating in paid gaming contests involves real money. While Cuevo is a skill-based platform, participating in contests carries the following financial risks:

  • You may lose your entry fee in any given contest. Only enter contests with money you can afford to lose.
  • Winning is not guaranteed. Past performance in contests does not predict future results.
  • Contest outcomes can be affected by factors beyond your control, including server issues, opponent skill, and game-side events.
  • Excessive participation can lead to financial stress if you spend beyond your means.
Warning
Never use borrowed money, savings, or funds earmarked for essential expenses to participate in contests. If you feel you may have a problem controlling your gaming spend, please use the self-exclusion tools below or contact us immediately.

Age Verification β€” 18+ Only

Cuevo is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. We enforce this through:

  • KYC verification (PAN card) required for withdrawals above β‚Ή10,000/year β€” PAN is only issued to adults.
  • Right to request age-verification documents from any account at any time.
  • Immediate suspension of any account suspected of being under 18.

If you believe a minor has registered on Cuevo, please contact support@cuevo.club immediately. We take underage participation extremely seriously.

Section 3
Self-Regulation Tools

We provide the following tools to help you maintain healthy gaming habits:

  • Spending Limits: Set a maximum weekly or monthly spend limit on your account. Once reached, you will not be able to enter further paid contests until the period resets. Contact support to set a limit.
  • Cooling-Off Period: Request a temporary pause on your account for 7, 14, or 30 days. During this time you cannot deposit or enter contests. Your balance is preserved.
  • Self-Exclusion: Permanently close your account and prevent re-registration for a minimum of 6 months. Contact support@cuevo.club to request self-exclusion.
  • Reality Check: On request, we can enable session-based spending notifications that show how much you have spent in the current session.

Signs of Problem Gaming

Gaming becomes a problem when it starts affecting your finances, relationships, or mental health. Warning signs include:

  • Spending more on entry fees than you planned or can afford.
  • Chasing losses by entering more contests to "win back" money.
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or unable to focus when not playing.
  • Hiding your gaming activity or spending from family members.
  • Borrowing money specifically to fund contest entries.
  • Neglecting work, studies, or personal responsibilities to participate in contests.

  • We will never advertise to or target users who have self-excluded.
  • We will never offer "loss-back" incentives or bonuses designed to encourage chasing losses.
  • We will process all self-exclusion requests within 24 hours without requiring justification.
  • We will never contact self-excluded users with contest promotions or re-engagement campaigns.
  • We display the full payout structure of every contest before you pay β€” no hidden terms.
  • All winnings are paid out in full within 24 hours β€” no artificial delays.

This policy explains when you are entitled to a refund of your entry fees and how refunds are processed on Cuevo.
Section 1
General Rule β€” Entry Fees are Non-Refundable

All contest entry fees are non-refundable once your participation is confirmed. This is because your entry fee contributes to the prize pool which is shared among all participants, and the contest lobby is organised in reliance on all confirmed entries.

Confirming your entry means you have verified the contest details, match time, scoring rules, and payout structure β€” all of which are displayed clearly before payment.

Before You Enter
Always verify the match date, time, game type, and your availability before paying. Cuevo is not responsible for entry fees paid for matches you are unable to attend.
Section 2
When Refunds ARE Issued

Cuevo will issue a full refund of your entry fee in the following circumstances:

  • Contest Cancelled by Cuevo: If Cuevo cancels a contest for any reason (insufficient players, technical issues, game server problems), all entry fees are refunded to participant wallets within 2 hours of cancellation.
  • Technical Payment Error: If your payment was debited but the entry was not registered in the system due to a payment gateway error, we will credit your wallet within 24 hours upon verification. Contact support@cuevo.club with your transaction ID.
  • Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same contest entry due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded to your wallet within 24 hours.
Section 3
How Refunds are Processed

All refunds are credited to your Cuevo Wallet β€” not to your original payment method (UPI, card, or bank account). From your wallet, you may withdraw the refunded amount to your registered UPI ID at any time, subject to the minimum withdrawal of β‚Ή100.

Cuevo does not issue refunds directly to payment sources. This is to maintain accurate financial records, ensure fast processing (wallet credits are instant), and comply with payment gateway terms.

Section 4
Deposit Refunds

Deposits made to your Cuevo Wallet (as opposed to contest entry fees) can be withdrawn at any time to your registered UPI ID, provided no investigation is pending on your account and you meet the minimum withdrawal of β‚Ή100.

Deposits are not refunded to the original payment method. Withdrawal of unused wallet balance to your UPI is always available.

Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback with your bank for a valid, confirmed contest entry is a violation of our Terms of Service. If you file a chargeback:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
  • Any outstanding winnings or wallet balance will be held.
  • If the chargeback is found to be unjustified, your account will be permanently terminated and you may be liable for recovery of the disputed amount plus any fees incurred by Cuevo.
